From August 12 to 14, Moscow hosted the Moscow Games of the Association for the Development of Corporate Sports. The event was held at five locations, including Luzhniki. The games were organized in the format of the International Spartakiad. On August 13, the Luzhniki Sports complex hosted the opening ceremony and a solemn parade of participants, which was attended by 11 countries of the world, including Russia, China, Honduras and others. The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Moscow Sports, as well as ambassadors from Nicaragua, Panama and Honduras. The event was organized by the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society "Labor Reserves".
The drummer of FC Lokomotiv and HC Avangard Anton Trifonov performed at the opening ceremony with the Trif Drums show. Also, the ColorPeople Show dance group showed a number for the audience, and after the acrobats and artists performed to the track from DJ The Prodigy Voodoo People.
A total of 1,500 athletes from 9 countries took part in the competition: Russia, Nicaragua, Iran, Vietnam, Venezuela, Panama, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Uzbekistan. Representatives from China and Honduras also attended the event. 78 Russian companies and 8 foreign teams competed for the title of winner in 20 sports: in team sports, such as volleyball, basketball, football, rugby and tug of war, as well as in individual - tennis, arm wrestling, kettlebell lifting, swimming and others, in addition, there were also intellectual sports, such as chess and backgammon.
The most popular were football, athletics and table tennis. The largest team at the competition was from JSC "NPC "KBM" Kolomna – 54 athletes.
In addition to the sports part, two ARCS round tables were held at the games. At the first meeting dedicated to strengthening international relations with the help of the sports arena, the participants discussed further international cooperation, the development of international sports competitions and the creation of a new international association for the development of corporate sports. The second round table discussed the need for legislative changes in the Russian Federation in the field of corporate sports. Thus, the president of the VFSO "Labor Reserves" Ilya Galaev presented a study conducted in cooperation with the Sport Foundation within the framework of the project "Industrial Gymnastics", which showed that only a little more than 20% of people are engaged in sports among the working population. The meeting also discussed children's corporate sports and the possibility of taking employees' children to sports events. Chairman of the ARCS Ilya Galaev noted that "The Association for the Development of Corporate Sports unites organizations, corporations, business communities on the topic of corporate sports. Sport is the health of the nation."
Recall that the competitions contribute to the implementation of the task of Russian President Vladimir Putin to involve the population in systematic physical culture and sports. By 2030, at least 70% of Russians should be involved in this process, according to the Federal project "Sport is the norm of life" of the National Project "Demography".
